Profit per Product (Price Minus All Unit Costs)

Subtract product cost, packaging, fees, and other per-unit costs from selling price. You get unit profit, margin percent (profit ÷ price), and how much of the price is eaten by costs, with packaging and fees in the cost stack.

How to use

Enter Selling price and each cost line. Read profit, margin, and cost share. Keep rent and salaried labour out unless you deliberately put them in Other.

Example

Price 49, product 18, packaging 4, fees 3, other 2: profit 22, margin about 44.9%.

Tips

Use ex-VAT figures if your price is ex-VAT. Volume discounts need a manual cost change per scenario.
