Vacation Pay: Salary × Percentage Estimate
Multiply monthly salary by a vacation pay percentage to show an estimated payout. Default 12% matches a common Swedish reference rate in many employments, but your contract or collective agreement may differ. How to use
Enter Monthly Salary and Vacation Pay (%). Estimated vacation pay = salary × percentage ÷ 100. Use gross monthly pay unless you know otherwise. Hourly workers should convert to an average monthly gross first.
Example
35,000 per month at 12% gives 4,200 estimated vacation pay before tax. At 40,000 and 12%, the estimate is 4,800. Real Swedish payroll may use sammalöneregeln or procentregeln on earned pay during the qualification year.
Tips
